CAAT Insights Panel Privacy Statement

The CAAT Insights Panel (the “Panel”) is a program created to collect information from participants to help understand their experiences and needs as members (“you”, “your”) of the CAAT Pension Plan (“Plan”, “we”). This privacy statement outlines how your personal information is collected, used, and processed in relation to the Panel.

• Participation is optional. If you choose to participate in the Panel, you will create a profile on the Panel and get survey invitations by email. All survey participation is optional.
• Your Panel profile will contain information previously provided by you and your employer. Your Panel profile will include your name and email address, which was previously collected from you or your employer. Through the Panel you will also be asked to provide information about your sex, gender, age, your country and province of residence, the plan design that you participate in, and your member status (i.e., if you are an active, retired or deferred member of the Plan). This information will be included in your Panel profile, and any time you participate in a survey, this demographic information will be anonymously included as part of the survey responses. Please note that providing any demographic information is voluntary.
• The information you provide on your Panel profile, in combination with your survey results, will be used to understand the experiences and needs of Plan members, individually and by demographic segment, enabling us to make data-driven decisions to enhance Plan administration and the overall member experience, including communications, services, processes, risk management, and plan terms.
• You may edit or delete information that you have provided to the Panel by updating your profile on the Panel site. Please note that you cannot delete information regarding the plan design you participate in or your member status, although you may update it.
• You can opt-out of receiving Panel-related emails, including emails inviting you to participate in new surveys, at any time by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ link in each email or contacting us directly (contact information below). Once unsubscribed, we will delete your name and email address from the distribution list. Any information provided by you via surveys or on your Panel profile will be anonymized and retained by the Plan.
• We do not sell or trade any collected personal information. It will only be shared with third parties assisting with Panel administration, subject to privacy protection measures.
