We welcome the news that the Ontario government is creating the Ontario Infrastructure Bank (OIB). The CAAT Pension Plan’s investment program is designed to generate sufficient long-term returns to keep pension benefits secure for our members, with a level of risk that is appropriate for the Plan and its strategic objectives. In the past, the Plan’s investments in Ontario have included significant commitments to renewable energy and social infrastructure projects, as well as many others. We look forward to working with the OIB to continue to explore investment opportunities in Ontario to generate long-term sustainable returns for our members.
