Joint sponsorship
CAAT is a Jointly Sponsored Pension Plan (JSPP), which means members and employers are equally represented on CAAT’s governing bodies: the Sponsors’ Committee and the Board of Trustees. Under this governance structure, member and employer representatives jointly participate in decisions regarding the administration and funding of the Plan.
Investment expertise
CAAT manages a pool of assets, which is funded by contributions from active members and employers, and by the investment earnings on those contributions. The Plan's assets are overseen by professional investment and pension management teams, with funding and investment policies intended to support the long-term sustainability of the Plan.
