Tom is responsible for governance and strategy at the CAAT Pension Plan. He joins CAAT from Cortex Applied Research Inc., where he served as President and a Senior Consultant. He has over 25 years of experience advising public and private pension plans across North America and abroad in the areas of board governance and strategic planning. He is an instructor at the Advanced Principles of Pension Management Program for Trustees offered by the California Association of Public Retirement Systems (CALAPRS) and the Master of Trust Management Standards Program (Strategic Planning) offered by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP). Tom earned a Master of Business Administration from York University and a Bachelors of Commerce from the University of Toronto.
