Why does my agent have to send a copy of the power of attorney to the Plan?

The holder of your current and enforceable Power of Attorney for Property is authorized to update the Plan by changing your address or banking information in our records. To ensure that this person has the authority to make such changes on your behalf, we must confirm the Power of Attorney document as part of our due diligence process.
