When does the Plan need a copy of my power of attorney?

Provided you have the required mental capacity, a Power of Attorney for Property can be drawn up at any time. Due to its structure, it may only take effect on a specific date or after a specific event (e.g., if you become mentally incapacitated) specified in the document. If someone needs to act on your behalf with respect to the CAAT Pension Plan, we require a valid and enforceable Power of Attorney for Property.
