One of Canada's fastest growing pension plans welcomes over 50 new employers in the first half of 2021

Toronto, July 19, 2021 – Over the first six months of 2021, 55 employers have joined CAAT Pension Plan’s award-winning and innovative DBplus, adding over 3,300 new members to its more than 70,000-member base.

This impressive growth rate demonstrates the dedication from employers of all sizes and sectors across Canada to prioritize their employees’ financial and mental wellness. With new access to predictable retirement income for life, these members now have peace of mind knowing their contributions will go much further compared to other retirement savings vehicles and is delivered by a not-for-profit plan they trust.

First launched in 2019 in response to evolving pension and workplace attraction and retention needs, DBplus is a simple, no-risk solution for employers who want to offer a valuable and secure pension plan, without taking on the cost, effort and risks of managing their own plans.

Sanofi Pasteur, The Conference Board of Canada, the Ontario Dental Association and the New Digital Research Infrastructure Organization are among the new employers now enjoying the valuable and cost-effective benefits DBplus offers to both employees and employers. Additionally, the affinity agreement between CAAT and the Canadian Bar Insurance Association has helped 42 small employers bring pension plan security to their employees in the first six months of 2021.

One of the most secure pension plans in Canada, CAAT’s unique pension solution is enjoyed by more than 125 employers in 10 industries and is supported by 16 unions and member associations.
